Good luck today to the Arizona Cardinals at the Super Bowl. Our hometown team made it to the Super Bowl against all odds. No one thought a few years ago that they would ever be Super Bowl contenders. Now we have a gorgeous new football stadium and a great team. If you haven’t seen our new hockey arena and football stadium you must see them. They are next to each other in Glendale at Westgate. Westgate is an huge entertainment complex with the 2 stadiums, hotels, restaurants, shops and more.
My Canadian blood doesn’t let me get too excited about football. Frankly I’d rather see the Stanley Cup make it to Phoenix than the Super Bowl. Maybe the Phoenix Coyotes will pull off a miracle like the Arizona Cardinals and make it to the playoffs some year.
