The latest Real Estate statistics on the Maricopa County median home sales price has been released by The Arizona Regional MLS. These statistics will give you a general idea of the entire Phoenix and Scottsdale markets. According to ARMLS the home prices hit bottom in March 2009 when the median home price decreased from $265,000 to $125,000. That is a very dramatic drop for the real estate market.
According to numbers at the end of 2009 the market has stabilized and home prices are going up at a steady rate in Maricopa County. There has been a lateral trend of stabilized prices or slight price increases over the past 8 months. It is clear that we have seen the worst of the real estate market crash and home prices are going to continue to steadily increase, especially in the finer North Scottsdale communities of Maricopa County. During the crash many Phoenix area communities saw a drop in home prices of 50% or more.
